We all know you can't trust your mom's opinion about your food product. Family and friends mean well when they tell you how much they LOVE IT, but it's challenging to get constructive feedback from them as you build your brand and refine your recipes.
Our blind tasting night offers just that — the unique opportunity to have your products tasted by an audience who has zero knowledge about you and your brand. It's the perfect time to get pointed feedback that will help you understand exactly what people love and would change about your products.
HOW IT WORKS
- Bring samples of your product, plus 1–2 "similar but different" products from your competition set. (Assume about 50 bites of each.)
- Invite up to two guests who are willing to sample other people's products, provide feedback, and help influence emerging brands.
- We'll make all of the samples anonymous before putting them out for tasting.
- Participants and tasters will try the products and fill out feedback forms with their thoughts and suggestions.
We'll end the night by sharing some insights and socializing over additional food and drinks. The event will be moderated by Alli Ball, of Allison Ball Consulting, former head buyer for Bi-Rite Markets in San Francisco.
